Shiny objects of little practical value have always been very popular since ancient times to show a persons status, trade or generously gift people with. Often these trinkets, or tokens, are small physical objects covered in ornate and highly decorative detail and are always beautiful but expensive materials. In ancient times before currency people used to trade trinkets like seashells or shiny gemstones as a currency. In more recent times the coin is the main form of currency, but we never lost our fascination for the finely crafted or pretty looking objects. Now they can be kept as keepsakes, or treasures as they are pleasing to look at. Baulders stall is known to stock a good collection of these.
