This small thin bundle of deep orange fur is a new Fahowyn Fox. The pine twig is a reminder of its home in the dark pine forests of Deorculf. It will sleep a lot in this infant stage.
Having grown a little the fox has become fast, and eager to explore its surroundings. If given the chance of an open door it will be out in the blink of a mischievous eye. Luckily they usually come back when they are tired or hungry. Its alternative colouring will start to darken its coat at this stage if it is going to be a black fox.
Fully grown these are larger than normal foxes and faster. Despite their size they can still slip easily through thickets of brambles making them extremely hard to chase or catch. They also have a sharp feral intellect that is higher than the other canids. If three of them are trapped the one that gets out first will most likely be the fox, if the other two dont crush it or the trap first. However they also remain wilder than the wolves in their own way as you will realize you cant completely tame the foxes. These sleek canids will always do what they want, whether thats covering your couch in mud, or stealing a roast chicken from right in front of you. Though with the charismatic cheeky expression it uses when caught this devious canid can often get away with it.
This is the breeding stage, the creatures can now breed with others in thier breed group. Otherwise nothing has changed.
