Pronunciation: Man-dar-rin
These striking and beautiful little fish are known for their vivid colours and are found among coral reefs hovering and flitting about like a underwater humming bird. They continuously pick at various worms and shrimps amongst the rocks of the tropical reefs. They are not often seen in the wild as they tend to stay in deeper waters. In captivity they can be hard to feed as they only eat live food, but otherwise they are very hardy and brilliant fish.
