Of all the tales told in a pub whis would be one of the oddest tails you would see, poking out of a beer glass...
As the serpent feed on any alcohol it can find, or is sometimes offered, it grows bigger and has more of a happy sway in its tail.
The Semairog's name is based on its tail which resembles a shamrock leaf. When certain folk songs are played the snake seems to dance and sway to the tune. Some think it moves like that anyway, the addictive rhythm perhaps accents its winding movement.
